The Santa Barbara Museum of Art invites you to the inaugural GILDED GALA—a night where elegance and mystery transport guests in a celebration of our bold new era. As the Museum's new signature fundraiser, the GILDED GALA is set to become one of Santa Barbara's most anticipated events, where the community comes together to support the Museum's vital education and engagement programs, for the care, study, and exhibition of its collections, and to bring art into the lives of all people.
As the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, the theatrics will begin as the Chandelier Terrace and ballroom will be transformed into a grand gilded backdrop like none other. Upon arrival, guests dressed in black tie with a glimmer of gold will enjoy cocktails and canapes, and electro-lounge music vibes. Prepare to be mesmerized by whimsical entertainment and avant garde activations around every corner.
As the night unfolds, guests will be seated in the opulent Chandelier Ballroom to enjoy a live band, a sumptuous three-course dinner, along with an exclusive live auction and paddle raise all to support the dawn of a new era for the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
